"From the Classroom to the Field"

Mission Statement

To become a complete outdoor enthusiast while strengthening

our character, leadership skills, respect for life, conservation

awareness and the promotion of higher education.

The goal of the National Scholastic Sportsman Program is to provide a positive outlet for students who love the great outdoors, while developing life skills to help them further their education and better their lives. It is a program for high school students designed to help students further their education while learning life skills by using the great outdoors.

The PCHS NSSP chapter meets once a month. An educational DVD is viewed every month to set the curriculum for the program.

The cost to join is $15 per year. Members must take an active role to keep their standing in the program. Overall, this will be an exciting learning experience and a positive alternative to today's peer pressures where we can teach the outdoors to our youth.
