E-Sports

The Pinckneyville E-Sports Team came to PCHS in late 2024 to bring the PCHS gaming community to come together and compete. Rhonda Schubert and Brandon Zelasko took on the difficult task of leading this team of kids. The variety of different schedules between the kids make it extremely hard to have meetings but without fail Rhonda was able to bring everyone together once a month to play as a team. Coming to E-Sports for Pinckneyville in 2025 is the new addition of IHSEA (Illinois High School E-Sports Association) which will change the way they play significantly. Instead of playing each other, the E-Sports team will play other schools to compete in games with the goal of winning enough games to make it to the state championship.
