MAPPS Presenting the Check

MAPPS which stands for Mentoring and Positive Peer Supports, a student organization took the lead at Pinckneyville High School in order to raise funds to be given to the families in Benton who mourn the loss of their teenage children taken in last Saturday's vehicle accident.

MAPPS member Autumn Gulley came up with this idea for a fundraiser.  On Thursday, September 21, teachers could wear jeans if they paid $2, and students could wear a hat for $1  Everyone could wear a hat on Friday, September 22, by paying $1.
