March 25-30
Tomorrow is our Annual Drive Your Tractor To School Day. The reason for drive your tractor to school day is more than just a fun day to show off your equipment. It is a day to showcase the skills and safety used by these young agriculturalists. It’s a day that brings awareness to farmers being on the roads. It’s a great way to teach equipment safety to those who did not grow up on a farm. And most importantly, it’s a day where we get to celebrate National Ag Week and advocate for agriculture. Please be on the lookout for equipment on the roads tomorrow morning between 6 and 8am, as well as after 2pm. This is a day many students look forward to all year long. Please help us stay safe so we can continue to do this day each year. If you come up on a tractor driver tomorrow please be courteous and respectful of the driver, follow at a safe distance, and if you must pass, please do so in a safe manner. Don’t be afraid to give the driver a wave or a thumbs up!

We have some exciting news! Our local O’Reilly Auto Parts, and Wix Filters are teaming up with the Pinckneyville FFA to help raise money for our chapter. For every Wix Filter box top collected, 25₵ will be donated to Pinckneyville FFA. To donate, please drop off box tops at Pinckneyville O’Reilly or at Pinckneyville High School. All Wix filters box tops can be donated, no matter where they are purchased. We are thankful for the support, and appreciate both our local O’Reilly Auto Parts team, and Wix Filters for their support of FFA. “At WIX, we love to play in the dirt. That’s why we’re offering your FFA chapter an easy way to live the same way. All you have to do is encourage your friends, neighbors and family to use WIX filters. During the fundraising period, WIX will donate $0.25 to your FFA chapter for every official WIX box top redeemed. Farmers, truck owners, repair shops, garages and auto parts stores can all help you earn money. Just collect their WIX part-numbered box tops and send them in. Over the years, WIX Filters has donated over $750,000 to local FFA chapters throughout the United States as part of the promotion. Be sure to redeem your WIX box tops before April 15. Each box top submitted must have the WIX Filters logo or name, along with the part number and UPC code. We can’t wait to start receiving your box tops and send you a check in support of your FFA chapter. We’re proud that WIX Filters can help you rake in the cash. Visit wixfilters.com to learn more about our FFA Box Top Program.”
