Boys Basketball Information:
The 22nd Annual Billie Ray Craig Tip Off Banquet will take place on Friday 11/17 at 6 pm in the Auxiliary Gym. Everyone who attends will need to purchase a ticket and present it at the door for admission. Tickets can be purchased from any boys basketball player or coach or in the main office. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased with cash or check made out to: “Billie Ray Craig Tip Off Banquet". A ticket is required for admission to the banquet. The guest speaker for the evening will be former NCAA Division I basketball player and Coach, Mitch Gilfillan. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle as well.
The PCHS Boys Basketball Blue/White scrimmage will be on Thursday 11/16 at 6 pm in Thomas gym. A case of water or Gatorade will be required for admission to the scrimmage. If people aren't able to bring water/Gatorade, monetary donations will be accepted.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Volleyball team for winning the DuQuoin Regional Championship. We will be hosting the Sectional next week in Thomas Gym.
The schedule is as follows
Mon., Oct. 30
Match 1 at 6:00 pm: (1) Fairfield vs. (2) Pinckneyville
Match 2 at 7:00 pm: (1) Metropolis (Massac County) vs. (2) Carmi (C.-White County)
Wed., Nov. 1
Match 3 at 6:00 pm: Winner Match 1 vs. Winner Match 2
Doors will open for fans at approximately 5 pm. Tickets will be available for $6 on the GoFan app or $7 at the door. If you are using GoFan, you will need to purchase the tickets in the app on your smartphone. Print outs and screenshots will not be allowed for admission.

These students are some of "the best and the brightest" of Illinois high school seniors in the Class of 2024. Will Forbes was awarded a Gold Award for his performance in the American Mathematics Olympiad which is an international math competition. Will scored in the top 8% of global test takers in his age grade level! Awesome accomplishment Will!

Tomorrow we wrap up Homecoming Spirit Days! Class color day is always a hit and we're ready to duke it out at the Homecoming class games! Join us for the parade at 2:15 and don't forget to come out to support the Panthers as they take on AJ in our homecoming game! Coronation is at halftime!

Wow, Panther Nation kept the spirit going today with another showing of nearly 240 students dressing as Barbie or Ken! Let's keep it up tomorrow for Neon Day! Freshmen are neon yellow, sophomores are neon blue, juniors are neon purple, and seniors are neon pink.
Also - don't forget to join us for the Variety Show tomorrow at 7:00pm. Rehearsals today were incredible; y'all are in for a treat! We'll also be featuring the PCHS Panther football team and crowning the 2023 Homecoming Queen. Cost is $5 at the door.


Due to lightning, the boys soccer game vs Anna Jonesboro today (9/26) has been rescheduled for next Wednesday (10/4) at 4:30 pm in Pinckneyville.
